WEB DEMO

Lock the box, then click “Follow along” in the shared window.

This demo only changes this page. The Mac app can float above other windows and across Spaces.

Run it on your Mac

Free to use. Download version 0.1.0 for macOS 13 or later. One app for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

Verify download checksums · ZIP instead

  1. Open the DMG and drag Sunroom into Applications.
  2. Eject the DMG, then open Sunroom. Look for the sun icon in your menu bar—there is no Dock icon.
  3. Choose Unlock · Move & Resize to place the box, then Lock · Click Through to use the app underneath.
First launch: macOS may block this release

Version 0.1.0 is ad-hoc signed, not Developer ID signed or notarized. If you trust the download, try opening it once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway and confirm. A managed Mac may prevent this. Read Apple’s explanation.

A box you place by hand

It stays where you put it. If the shared window moves, move the box too.

Show/hide and locking are separate. Hiding keeps its size and position.

Choose any tint colour, set opacity from 5% to 80%, or start with Amber, Blue or Gray. The app remembers your settings locally.
